Simon Says - Christmas

Hi Everyone...welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog. Thank you for joining us for last week's challenge and we hope you can join us this week too because

and the theme for this week is...
CHRISTMAS
I'm cracking on with my Christmas makes and have been decorating gift bags using Tim Holtz/Sizzix Pine Branches 3d Texture Fade, Vintage Sled, Santa Greetings Colorize and Scribbly Snowflakes Thinlits and Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Christmas Cartoons for the speech bubble sentiments.
I trimmed Distress Watercolor card to be slightly smaller than the gift bags and embossed using Tim Holtz/Sizzix Pine Branch 3D texture Fade. I spritzed the panels with Iced Spruce Distress Oxide Spray and Rustic Wilderness Distress Spray Stain and dried. I sanded the raised areas lightly and added splatters of Unravelled Distress Mica Stain. I rubbed over the raised areas using Rustic Wilderness and Forest Moss Distress Oxide ink pads, stamped the stars image from Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Jolly Holiday with Distress Embossing ink, sprinkled with Simon Says Antique Gold Embossing Powder and heat set.
I die-cut the sled and Santa from Distress Watercolor card, Idea-ology Metallic KraftStock an assortment of coloured cardstock using Tim Holtz/Sizzix Vintage Sled and Santa Greetings Thinlits. I used the Sizzix Festive Surfacez pack but you use whatever colours of card you have in your stash.
I assembled, added red twine to the sled and fixed both to the embossed panels, popped up on foam squares to add dimension. I distressed the edges of the panels using Tim Holtz Paper Distresser and fixed to the gift bags using Distress Collage Medium.
I fixed the greenery and bow from Vintage Sled in place with Distress Collage Medium. I applied a thin coat of Distress Collage Medium over a scrap of Distress Watercolor card, sprinkled with Distress Rock Candy Glitter and once dry, die-cut Tim Holtz/Sizzix Scribbly Snowflakes and fixed to the gift bags.
I attached Sizzix Adhesive Foam to scraps of Distress Watercolor and red card and die-cut using the alphabet from Santa Greetings and fixed to the string die-cut from gold Idea-ology KraftStock. I applied Distress Collage Medium sparingly to the fur on Santa's hat and jacket using a small brush and sprinkled with Distress Rock Candy Glitter. I used a Sakura Black Glaze Pen to add shine to his eyes and boots.
I stamped the speech bubble from Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Christmas Cartoons, inked with Black Soot Distress Archival, on to scraps of red card. I stamped the sayings, inked with Versamark ink, sprinkled with white embossing powder and heat set. I trimmed around the bubble, fixed to Distress Watercolor card, fussy cut to leave a white border and fixed in place with foam squares.
I added Idea-ology Christmas Remnant Rubs to the Vintage Sled gift bag.
To finish I added White Crinkle Ribbon and red thread bows to the gift bag handles.
I also added Glossy Accents to the holly berries and centre of the bow on the Vintage Sled greenery and highlighted with a Sakura White Gelly Roll Pen.
