Simon Says - Stamp It

Hi Everyone...welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog. Thank you for joining us for last week's challenge and we hope you can join us this week too because

As you know STAMPtember® is a very special month in the Simon Says Stamp calendar. This week we are all using fabulous products from the latest Simon Says Stamp STAMPtember® Release. You don’t have to use them to join in with the challenge but if you have them we would love to see them used.

We are also welcoming the lovely Debbie Emmons aka designingdiva_73  into the Designer Spotlight. If you haven't visited her Instagram page before then you are in for a real treat!

I created a fun spooky card using the Simon Says Stamp STAMPtember Friendly Ghosts stamps and dies along with Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Moon Mask, Mr Bones stamp set and Tim Holtz/Ranger Distress Mica Stains.

I used the Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Moon Mask as a guide for size and applied Simon Says White Pigment ink using a mini round blending tool on to an A6 panel of Distress Black HeavyStock. I placed the mask over the white pigment ink circle, spritzed the panel with Iron Gate, Phantom Mist and Flickering Candlelight Distress Mica Stains, spritzed with water and dried. I blended Hickory Smoke Distress Oxide ink through the moon layering stencil and stamped the branch from Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Mr Bones, inked with Simon Says Intense Black ink.

I stamped Simon Says Friendly Ghosts layering stamp set on to a scrap of Simon Says Fog Cardstock using Simon Says White Pigment ink, Intense Black ink, Hickory Smoke, Peeled Paint and Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide inks and die-cut using the matching dies.

I dabbed Distress Collage Medium on to the bottom of the panel, scrunched up Tim Holtz/Idea-ology Mummy Cloth and pressed into the adhesive.

I stamped the sentiments from the Friendly Ghosts stamp set on to scraps of Distress Black HeavyStock, inked with Versamark, sprinkled with White Embossing Powder, heat set and die-cut. I fixed the ghosts and sentiments to the panel with black foam squares to add dimension,

I die-cut the spiders from Distress Black HeavyStock using Tim Holtz/Sizzix Frightful Things Thinlits, fixed to the panel with foam squares, added Ranger Glossy Accents to the bodies and decorated the panel with Gold Mix Confetti.

To finish I matted the panel on to Distress Black HeavyStock trimmed 1/8" larger and fixed to a white card blank.
