The Pink Elephant Challenge # 18

Hi Folks....all my DT stuff for next week is done and dusted and I have been in play mode.....winding down before I go on holiday.....did I tell you I am off to DEN HAAG for a week.......yes I think I did mention it perhaps......but before I go I have a couple of cards to do for my favourite challenges.....
the first is The Pink Elephant  and woo...hoo...I made the Top 5 last week with my Hero Arts  "Fill Your Heart" card......I am so loving playing with my new stamps and you know what they say...if it ain't broke don't fix it.....so another Hero Arts themed card inspired by the lovely and mega talented Shari Carroll.
The challenge this week is a colour challenge and one of my favourites........

PINK...CHOCOLATE AND WHITE

Papers: Basic Grey....Sugared
Stamps: Hero Arts..Scattered Leaves
Flowers: Prima
Button: Basic Grey
Twine and Tiny Sentiment from stash
I am going for the artistic licence thingamybob here....the Prima Flowers are White....but slightly off white if you know what I mean.......and yes I still have another challenge card to post but considering I haven't made it yet......it could be a skidding in by the seat of my pants affair again.    I am having a rather special visitor this morning...a dear friend who is home visiting family all the way from Oman and yes Nancy.....if you are reading this.....he will be winging his way home soon with a parcel of crafting goodies for you to play with.
Oh there are so many challenges out there that I would like to do....but time is never on my side and this week there are 2 that I really wanted to do.....but no way Jose....as they say.....the first was Hero Arts Club Blog....they are having a fantastic week of give-aways....partnering up with Quickutz and the star prize is a Silhouette....Quickutz Dies and Hero Arts stamps.....and the second was Simon Says Stamps who are giving away an original signed artwork by guess who.....TIM HOLTZ....oh boy I would think I had died and gone to heaven if I had won that.....but just ran out of time.
Will be back later....and it may be much later.....with my card for Papertake Weekly.....there is no way I am missing out on Dawny's first challenge as the boss lady......toodle..oo for now......Hugs Kath xxxxxx
