Allsorts Challenge

Morning Folks..and yes I am almost done and dusted with all my crafty stuff...and am now beginning to get in holiday mood but time for another challenge card.   I was lucky enough to be voted in the Top 5 last week over at the Allsorts Challenge along with my lovely Funky Hand teamies....ALLISON and DOLLY...hey well done girls....three cheers for the Funky Hand Girlies...3 out of 5 ain't bad.
And the challenge this week is.........

PINK AND WHITE

Background: Basic Grey
Hearts stamped with Hero Arts: Fill Your Heart Stamp Set
Image: Penny Black....Have a Micey Day Collection
Sentiment: Hero Arts: Tiny Text Alphabet
Flowers: Prima & Crafty Bitz
Now I may have cheated a little bit here as there is a touch of brown on the hearts to tie in with the colour of the mice....and hope I am not going to be disqualified and sent to the corner with the dunces cap on....of course... you do get pink and white mice.....remember those fondant mice you used to get at Christmas with the string tails....haven't seen them for years.  The small circles were coloured with Hero Arts new shadow ink....Blossom.....there has been quite a discussion on the Hero Arts Flickr Group about this colour....lots of folks don't like it....think it is too bright.....I have to disagree....I think it is just the most gorgeous pink and tones in perfectly with the paper and the Primas...but hey it would be a boring world if everyone liked the same thing.......will be back later with some thank you's for two lovely bloggy buds.

    Stunning card, and I love the blossom ink. I remember those fondant mice, probably not allowed to put string in sweets now! health and safety and all that!! ;)xx

    Every time I'm stumped making a card, I always come and have a browse of your blog, I love EVERY crad you make! I'm a weeny bit jealous! ; )
    This is fab too, I love the cute little mice - I had a pink sugar mouse not very long ago, it flippin' hurt my teeth!! Yummy though!

    Phew it took a few tries but I can now leave a comment (don't know what happened there!)

    Any way on to your lovely card(how cute) loving the mice I really like the rain or shine one too loving that! I am going to miss all your wonderful crafting while your away but as you have said dispite the holiday I am sure you will find time lol.

    Do have a wonderful time rest and enjoy your family and come streight back with your wonderful Ideas ( I will be having withdrawls!) who is having Buddy while your away? I'm sure you have some where wonderful for him to stay but I have room for him lol

    ohhh Kath, this is another stunner. LOVE it, I really do cos it's so pretty. Yes I do remember those mice!! No wonder we all had fillings cos they must have been pure sugar. But they were nice all the same :))x I hadnt seen this challenge - I'm, hopeless - so I'm off to have a nosey. Biggest hugs and hope all is well at Chez Kath xxxxxx
