Carol's Sketch Fun # 20

Morning folks.....time for another sketch challenge from my lovely bloggy bud Carol over at Carol's Sketch Fun.......another fabulous sketch and a great excuse to play with one of my new Hero Arts stamps....the woodgrain background which doesn't really show up too well as it's embossed in White on quite a light background

Hero Arts S5100 Woodgrain Pattern stamped with Versamark and embossed with White Detail Powder
Stamped all over background with Hero Arts Soft Sand Shadow Ink Pad
darkening slightly with TH Distress Ink Pad..Frayed Burlap
Image: Hero Arts: S4878 Old Letter Writing stamped with TH Distress Ink.....Faded Jeans
Stampendous: Agapanthus Cluster stamped with Faded Jeans and Frayed Burlap
Ribbon: American Crafts
Sentiment: My Little Shoebox Mini Alphabet Stickers
Pearls from stash

And how did the demo day go......it was fandabbidosie....a big thank you to all the lovely lovely ladies who came along and for making me feel so welcome....it was great fun and a special thank you to Karen and Kate for inviting me along and for keeping me supplied with lots of coffee...hope to be back to see you all again soon
Did take the old camera with me.....but it was so busy from the word go.... so not a lot of pics to show and not only am I a messy crafter at home....it would seem that I am a messy demonstrator too.....big thank you to the lovely Alice who was a dab hand at finding my pokey tool time after time in the midden that was my table.

Abandoned for lunch

while the girls took a little break for some crafty shopping

and I have to say a big thank you to Kate for her patience with my endless requests for stuff I had forgotten to pack in my demo kit......and a little confession...I am sure I am home with your embossing tool Kate...haven't got round to unpacking my kit yet.....it is still in the back of the car.......oops.
Having a lazy lie-in kinda day today with the Sunday papers...catch up with you all later.
Happy Valentine's everyone......Hugs Kath xxxxx
