Missing my Mum

Hi Everybody...its your bundle of golden deliciousness...you know me I am usually such a cheery chappie but I'm afraid I have my hang dog face on today....it seems such a long time since my Mum went away and I'm missing her but Dad tells me she will be home tonight about 9.00pm...well that's a great help considering I don't have a watch and can't tell the time anyway...so I will just have to wait by the front door until I hear her footsteps...then I'll be jumping up and down...turning cartwheels and once she steps inside...it will be big sloppy Buddy kisses all over that wrinkly old face. Bedtimes have been the worst....miss her snoring and snuggling up all warm and cosy against her big bum but we will probably be having a lovely snuggly mega lie-in tomorrow morning and it will be back to our morning strolls and little chats in the cubbyhole...I'll probably be getting all the crafty gossip from the SECC...have to pretend to look interested....well it makes for a quiet life.
I don't think Mum has realised that she will be missing her favourite Dancing on Ice tonight...stuck on a train speeding it's way home...she ain't going to be happy about that but she will catch the skate off and fingers crossed that Dan & Hayley will be safely through or she will be like a bear with a sore head. Well it's gonna be a long day and what's a guy gotta do but have a snooze or two.

  5. Aw Buddy - big hugs and kisses to you! Just a little thing...perhaps you might not want to mention the snoring, bug bum and wrinkly old face....ladies tend to get a bit sensitive about that sort of stuff! Yes, I know that in doggy land these are all assets!

    Lots of sloppy kisses!

  14. Awww...sending you a big bloggy hug in return Buddy! Your Mum will back before you know it...and just think how pleased she'll be to see you too! :0)
Cassie (my parents golden retriever) is such a Daddy's girl...she goes and lays right in front of the front door every time Dad goes out, ready to greet him the second he gets home...although she's a bit old for turning cartwheels now (she's 13)! lol
In the meantime...how about figuring out how to set the video to record your Mum's programme...that should keep you occupied for most of the day! lol

  19. You MUST get your dad to record Dancing On Ice for her. When she gets home, tired and weary, she will appreciate being able to put her feet up, have a cuddle with you, a proper cup of tea and watch her favourite programme.

  22. Poor Buddy! I know how you feel! My name is Rebel, I'm a daddy's girl kitty. For the last 4 days my Dad has been away! My mum said he was in the hospital, but I don't know what that is. So I just had to wait too! Yesterday morning when he came home, I was so happy. No one else knows how or where to scratch or rub. And I just love the hairbrush on my back! But he's the only one who knows how! Thank heaven's he's home and going to stay too! I know you'll love your mum being home again too!

  25. Buddy, your mum will home very shortly and she is missing you loads. I have had the pleasure of meeting her in the flesh for the first time on Friday and she was just as delightful as I thougth she would be - her and Lorraine. I had a great wee giggle with them and my mum. She was telling us about you and the slipper, lol. She is missing you too, Bud

  26. Hi Buddy, by the time you read this your Mum will be home again. It was lovely to meet her at the SECC today. Not sure she'll have any treats for you but she just might have some for herself so she'll be in a good mood tomorrow when she's had a good rest.

  27. Buddy, if I were you I would def. not mention to Mum that you put the bits about the big bum, wrinkly old face and snoring on her blog! That might just get you evicted from the cubby! By now she's long home and you're all cozzy in the feather bed. I'm sure that she's missed you too. But remember her feet are going to be very tired and achy. Maybe you should let her rest them on your nice warm soft side? I'm sure she'll be just fine in a day or so.
