Daring Cardmakers Challenge

Morning folks....it's Monday morning....time for lots of folks to return to the humdrum routine of the working week....me included although I've been working all weekend trying to catch up on lots of crafty jobs but all work and no play makes Jill a real dull girl....so I took some time out to join in the fun over at Daring Cardmakers.

The challenge this week is....
FLOWERS FOR FEBRUARY
which are Violets or Primroses

Kraft Card
overstamped with Hero Arts CG251 - Small Solid Flower inked with Distress Ink...Frayed Burlap
Sentiment Hero Arts CL491 - Made With Love
Flowers: Hero Arts CG290 - 4 Flowers inked with Distress Ink...Mustard Seed
Brads....American Crafts
Fiskars Border Punch: Scalloped Lace
overstamped with Hero Arts S5433 - Large Canvas Stripes inked with Distress Ink...Mustard Seed
Hemp: Simply Create
Button from stash

A real simple card even for me and I am still sitting on the fence on this one.   For all the botanical experts out there....I know I am using a bit of artistic licence with the primroses but I'm sure you will cut me a bit of slack...half close your eyes and pretend.
Dancing On Ice....what can I say....Jason Gardiner is an offensive odious bully and do we really want to see folk like him on what is a family TV show....well done Karen for standing up to him and you deserved more than his half hearted crawling attempt at an apology....what a slime ball.  But that wasn't the only shocker of the night....can't believe that Jen and Sylvan have gone....she is one sexy lady who can skate and oh boy is he serious eye candy.
But I think it's far too early in the morning to be having such thoughts so I will get back to the job in hand and remind you that you only have until midnight tonight to enter The Furry Boy's Give-Away....he will be hopping on tomorrow to announce his winner and no doubt he will have plenty to say for himself as usual.
Hugs Kath xxx
Edited add: sitting at my desk with a cuppa and it's snowing....HEAVILY....are we going to be marooned again
