crikey has it been SNOWING....it's not exactly a rare phenomonen for it to snow here in April and May but after focusing the sleepy eyes I realised its only the blossom fluttering down from the old Cherry Tree....
which I've been planning to prune back for years but I don't fancy the job of being up a ladder with a chainsaw and am still on the lookout for a very very nice man who does.....
But enough waffling on about our strange climate variations ...time to share a quickie card (in between alcohol inky sessions) for this week's Less Is More Challenge.....
OFF CENTRE
Hero Arts: H5312 - Silhouette Burst
Hero Arts: CL383 -Antique Engravings stamped onto Acetate and coloured with Alcohol Ink..Lettuce
Sentiment: Unity Stamp Set...All You Need
Pearl coloured with Promarker....Hobby House
Off to look out the fleece and cosy scarf for our morning stroll and then back to the job in hand....it's going to be a "having lots of fun with configuration boxes" kind of a day Catch up with you all tomorrow over at WOYWW and it's anybody's guess what will be on my workdesk.
Hugs Kath xxx
Edited to add: how could I forget to tell you the most important news of the week.....Mr Vagabond The Second has arrived at The Papeterie so I will be on my way soon to go pick him up...let's hope he is better behaved than his older brother.
morning Kath - gorgeous card, and the acetate butterfly is fab, especially with the pearls coloured with promarkers :)

ReplyDeleteOh Kath, I love your cards! I've had to 'pin' a few to my Pinterest board to 'case'.
ReplyDeleteI love that butterfly & the off-centre. This kind of LIM I might be able to manage. WOYWW - let me guess - Vagabond no 2 in for a test run.
ReplyDeleteSimilar weather here in Brecon & I had a numptie moment (I'll blame you for introducing that word into my vocabulary) when I put the storage heater in my craft room on last night - but forgot to set the input level- stone cold this morning. Thank goodness for an understanding husband who told me to put the convector element on as he saw me with the microwaveable heat bag around my neck!!.

Very pretty card...that butterfly is absolutely stunning!
ReplyDeleteLove your card - we've got the same kind of snow here of the pink variety. I've 2 of those flowering cherries in my garden and what a waste of time they are they flower for one week only and no fruit... nothing... just blossom and leaves to pick up twice a year! If you get that chain saw out I've got job for you lol.
ReplyDeleteLove Lynda xxx
