What's on my Workdesk Wednesday

Morning folks....crikey is it really Wednesday already and hey the first day of June to boot..time to play along with all the lovely crafters over at Julia's place..throw open our crafty doors to the world and all those who join in the phenomonen that is WOYWW.  Happy 2nd Anniversary to Julia and all the WOYWW'ers.
I know what you're thinking..this is one strange looking crafty space and quite an eye-opener for all those of you who think I am one super organised crafter...my crafting supplies box has been sitting in the boot of the car since returning home from Saturday's workshop...shocking isn't it.
So what's on my cubbyhole workdesk today....not a lot as you can see apart from my new Daylight Lamp..the jury's been out and now it's time for the verdict...
I tend to ignore as a rule all the e-mails offering freebies in exchange for a mention on my blog because basically if it doesn't come up to scratch I will say so and that isn't going to go down well is it...so I did dither a bit when I was contacted by The Daylight Company about trying out one of their lamps and writing a review....but the Crafty Girl's eyes aren't getting any younger and I've been thinking for some time of investing in some help so I popped over to their online store and chose the Flexible LED Desk Light.  If I had to sum up in just a  few words what I think of it.....

LOVE IT....LOVE IT....LOVE IT....
I gave it a night time crafting test and I can't believe the difference it makes...there are going to be no more tired eyes or headaches when burning the midnight oil and it's fantastic when it comes to matching up colours...how have I managed all these years without one.
And let's face it girls...looks are important too....who wants an ugly duckling sitting on their workdesk when you can have this stylish elegant and modern lamp. It takes up very little space and I love the flexible head which is easily adjusted to whichever angle suits....the base is weighted so no danger of it toppling over and very important in these credit crunch times...the LED light uses 80% less electricity...so that means more money for crafty stash whilst doing my bit for the planet.
So....it's definitely 10 out 10....my new best friend passed with flying colours and has become a permanent member of the cubbyhole family...and if The Daylight Company think they are getting it back....think again folks...IT'S MINE.  If like me you have been pondering for a while...pop over to The Daylight Company and check out the large selection of lamps..I'm sure you'll find something to suit your crafting needs.
Catch up with you all tomorrow...

To answer Sarpreet's questions....the Daylight Light does not generate any heat so won't heat up your room....the bulb uses low heat technology and doesn't get hot...so you won't burn your fingers if you were to accidentally touch it....for information on replacement bulbs....pop over to their online store.
