Buttons Galore

Morning folks...if you are a regular visitor to the cubbyhole you will know that I have many weaknesses when it comes to crafty goodies ranging from anything Tim Holtz...Hero Arts...Penny Blacks....ribbon and especially...

BUTTONS
and it just so happens that there is a....
over at Fantastic Ribbons...
Buttons have become a must have item in the craft and hobby world recently and have many uses not just for traditional sewers, knitters and quilters but scrap booking paper crafting and jewellery making . Why not jazz up a lampshade or cushion as these buttons are now HALF PRICE.  Just choose any 5 colours - was £30 now £15.  These contain approx 150 buttons each pack so there are loads to craft with.

if you're a button addict like me...it's a great way to stock up your button supply and if you feel you don't need that many...you could always get together and share with a friend.  Keith from Fantastic Ribbons is giving you the chance to get your crafty mitts on this pack of 150 gorgeous pastel buttons....

all you have to do is leave your name with Mister Linky before 8pm on Friday 10th February to be in with a chance of being in button heaven.
I would like to say a huge thank you to Anne...Polly and Claire who contacted me yesterday offering to donate some of their crafty stash...crafters are the nicest folks on the planet...but you already know that and it truly gladdens my heart and makes me so proud of  the crafting community we all belong to.
I'll see you all tomorrow over at WOYWW
Hugs Kath xxx

  31. I LOVE buttons... now, I shall bore you with the "why"... my lovely Gran had a big old toffee tin, it was huge (well, to my three year old self probably) and she had to use a button hook to open it because it was so bashed and rusted... I still have the button hook :O)) Anyways... she used to let me delve into the buttons and run them through my fingers... and the noise sounded like the seaside.. so the tin was always "Grandma can I see the seaside tin please?" And because she spoiled me rotten she used to let me use some of the buttons of little scraps of fabric I had chopped up... bless her. My aunt now has the button tin... neglected in her loft but hopefully one day, it will be left to me. I made my own button tin and it is chocca block full of loads of different buttons... just thought I would share that... not sure why but the pics did remind me of those happy days. I shalln't add to the Mr Linky because I got some gorge buttons from Fantastic Ribbons the other day so I hope someone else gets chance to delve their hands thru the gorgeousness of buttons xx *PS... snuggle for Buddy**
