years old today...
and we're so chuffed that you decided to pop in and help us celebrate. Let me rephrase that...I'm your ultimate party animal and can't wait for the nibbles and the fun to begin...on the other hand the old crafty girl is looking slightly less enthusiastic...in fact she's feeling as though she flew all the way home hanging onto the wing of the plane and to be truthful by the look of her this morning...I'm inclined to agree.
23rd February 2008 was the day my old crafty Mum embraced the latest technology and started a blog and HERE was her very first post....short and sweet which you have to admit is unusual but hey once she got into her stride there was no shutting her up...how quickly time passes when you're having fun and we've had a ball....made lots of new bloggy friends sadly most of whom we will probably never meet...shared happy and sad times together and we're truly amazed by all the fabulous talent and inspiration in blogland and how kind and generous everyone is...a huge thank you to all our followers...all 1463 of you...without you we're basically just talking to ourselves...we love when you come to call and leave us lots of bloggy hugs. This is post number 1821...blimey that's a shed load of chatting and uploading photos and we've passed the 3/4 million hits mark but don't forget we're a team and she couldn't have done it without yours truly...always ready to step into the breach when Mum has a meltdown "don't have time to blog" day.But hey let's get the party started and we can't have a party without some parcels....yummy goodies to give-away thanks to our lovely buddies ANDREA & MARY at...

all you have to do is leave us a great big birthday hug before 8pm on Wednesday 29th February and I'll be back to announce the lucky winner on 1st March. In the meantime I'm off to look out my best bib and tucker...get the candles lit and make sure I get a big slice of the birthday cake.
