Penny Black Saturday Challenge...Week 188

Morning folks....yeeeehaa it's Saturday...time to look out your Penny Blacks and join in the fun over at Penny Black Saturday. I loved all your Case - Debby's card creations from last week...you really are such a talented bunch of Penny Black crafters...thank you for taking time to share your inspiration with us all.
And woohooo I have fandabbidosie news to share with you all...my lovely mega talented sweet friend ALI is back on the Penny Black Saturday team...I'm so excited that once again she will be sharing her fabulous talent with us all...so pop on over and give her a great big Penny Black welcome.
No surprises about this week's challenge...with Valentine's Day coming up...it just had to be....

LOVE & KISSES

The papers I've used this week are a HOTP freebie from this month's Simply Cards & Papercraft...I'm not one to use freebie papers as a rule but SC&P papers are always such great quality and the minute I saw them I was smitten with the gorgeous dusky shabby chic colours.   I don't know about you but I usually spend more time deciding which image to use than I do making the actual card and with busy busy being my middle name at the moment there was definitely no time for faffing around dilly dallying...this was the first stamp I saw when I delved into the Penny Black stamp stash and I had a massive kachink moment...
cover up the butterfly on the left with a punched out heart....problem solved and a great way to get more mileage out of your stamps.  If only I had more of these kachink moments....life would be a doddle.
And the prize this week for one lucky winner
is $20 voucher to spend over at

I'll be popping by to see what you've all created during the week....I'm off to have a little play time...have fun whatever you are doing this weekend...see you all tomorrow...we will be announcing the winner of those gorgeous buttons...so pop on over and check out if it's YOU.

  8. Great to see Ali back again. Now I have to say that those papers are rather fine & nice idea to use pink & blue for his & hers imagery too & I love your grounding of that little hedgie.
