Tagging Along Nicely...

Morning folks...It's been a fun week in the cubbyhole..we've been snuggled up and cosy and warm away from the nasty chilly wet weather outside and I've been in my element up to my elbows in paint and crafting just for me for a change...getting stuck into my Tag Book which is coming along nicely by the way...yes I'm right on track...ticking along and having great fun at the same time. All the pages have been painted with Paperartsy Fresco Finish Paints...I wanted to keep the colours neutral and quite soft because after all the stars of the show are going to be the technique tags and after some stamping and a bit of the old distressing I'm ready for the next step in this creative process...
the cover which needs some hardware added and of course a title...
moving on to measuring and cutting the acetate inserts which will hold 3 Technique Tags per page...
and fixing all the technique instructions on the back...
but I have a feeling this may have been the "easy peasy-lemon squeezy" part of the project...there is still the small matter of 25 tags to do...I'm going to have my work cut out but I'm looking forward to settling down with a cuppa or two and watching all Tim's fabulous technique videos again and when you're playing with products you love let's face it folks it can hardly be classed as a chore...woohoo once it's completed I'm going to have a great must-have "go to often" technique ideas reference book a la Tim Holtz.  Finally Friday's little sneaky peek...no point in searching out more products...I couldn't resist using what was already on my workdesk....
I'll see you all tomorrow over at Penny Black Saturday and hoping by Sunday that I may have some tags in the bag (or should I say book) to share.
Hugs Kath xxx

  6. This just looks brilliant & I can see you how much enjoyment you're getting from it - never mind that it is an utterly useful reference tool.

  7. Looks amazing so far Kath. Looking forward to the progress reports. Really stumped by your sneaky peek this week!

Had a morning off yesterday and afternoon off today instead of a day of yesterday so off to finish hoovering dog hair before I settle down to craft.

  8. Wow, never mind the tags - the storage binder is amazing and a wonderful way to store the tags, when finished of course. I have put mine in a plain old ring binder along with the PDF notes from each class but your idea is WAY better, I just love it Kath. Glad you found time to craft for yourself - can't decide what that sneak peek is....
