Morning folks...the trials and tribulations at the beginning of the week are old news now...the cubbyhole crew have been working their little cotton socks off and we're back up to speed with the list of crafty things to do. The "Art Parts Album" Workshop project has been delivered to
The Papeterie... now on display for the world and his wife to see so surely I'm not in any danger of having my lips stapled again for showing a teeny weeny sneaky peek
and woohoo we have a little surprise coming your way on Sunday...The Furry Boy's been shopping for a special give-away...you could say it's the latest "up-to-the minute on-trend must-have"crafty item...nod...nod...wink...my lips are sealed and talking of surprises...no-one is more surprised than me that my DT card for Penny Black Saturday has been gathering dust in the cubbyhole since Wednesday...no skidding in by the seat of my pants this week...
And what's The Furry Boy been up to...apart from splashing his cash...doing what he does best...basking in the sun and taking his sleeping partner job title a little too literally....
believe it or not we've had some gorgeous blinks of the sun this week...OK they've been accompanied by some dreadful torrential monsoon type downpours but a little bit of sunshine is better than none at all and the garden plants are certainly enjoying the combination of the two after their winter slumbers...
toodle-oo for now my bloggy friends...I'll see you all tomorrow bright and early for another fabby challenge over at
Penny Black Saturday...in the meantime have fun whatever you're doing.
Hugs Kath xxx
Edited to add: obviously I spoke too soon...the latest drama to hit Chez Kath...the kettle has just gone and died on me..so it's back to the days of the wooden boilers...boiling a pan of water for my morning cuppa until I can make another shopping trip to get a replacement...you couldn't make it up if you tried...could you.

Oooo, I love sneaky peeks! And Buddy looks like he's doing an excellent job - my son loves looking at your photos of him. And is that a variegated Hosta? It looks fab, very healthy. Have a great day and thanks for your lovely comment on my cards on the Craftwork Cards blog yesterday - very much appreciated by this novice designer! x
ReplyDeleteOh Kath, sorry to hear your kettle hit the bucket - or whatever the idiom is. Love the look of both projects & glad to see you've been having some sun - it's obviously been gracing your part of the country by the looks of things. Take care - hope you've not got an electric blanket to go wrong, on second thoughts you wouldn't need one would you?
ReplyDeleteTake care midst all the gremlins.
Paula (PEP)
What a lovely piccy of the furry boy! And those hostas look really healthy. I've missed all your dramas due to a bereavement - I'm hoping to get back to crafting in the next few days.
ReplyDeleteBuddy, you are truly the most handsome boy, dozing in the sun. Please tell mummy her card is great, and I love the garden photos.
