More Girls Just Want To Have Fun

Morning folks...it's back to work today which may involve a bit of dragging myself kicking and screaming into the cubbyhole...yesterday's lazy snuggle up day was one of those "what-a-mistake-a to make-a" days...this old body needs to keep moving or it seizes up completely...oh yes I'm suffering from those familiar "ran all the way home hanging onto the back of the car" and "dragged through a hedge backwards" syndromes requiring a bit of WD40 therapy but our "GJWTHF" day in Perth was so much fun...absolutely worth a couple of days of Moaning Minnie aches and pains...
my 3 groups of "heads down and let's craft" crafting superstars...
Amanda, Tina, Anda, Joyce, Anne and Caroline

Group 1...done and dusted and waiting for the glue to dry
Anne's work station...
Doreen, Georgina, Jennifer, Sheila, June, Linda, Shona and Mary
making a fabulous napkin decoupage torso...
over at Debbi's work station
Susan, Cass, Ann Marie, Carol, Pat, Isobel, Kathleen & Fiona
making a stunning Alcohol Ink and stamped notebook...

all that crafting doesn't half give you an appetite...so we managed to squeeze in a leisurely break for a "making new friends" blether and some lunch...
A big thank you to everyone who came along and made the day such fun..time doesn't half fly...before you know it's over and time for home and despite our protests the crafting superstars mucked in moving tables and chairs back to "leave the hall as you found it" mode...thanks for that girls. All you need after a busy crafty day is for the pilot to have one or two "numptie wrong exit at roundabout" moments...lost and never to be seen again in Perth's infamous one-way street system was running through our minds but as always the fabulous "GJWTHF" team dug deep in the navigational skills department and we were mightily relieved to arrive back in Aberdeen...happy bunnies if a little tired and weary.
I'll be back tomorrow with my project and for all the GJWTHF girls...a list of all the supplies used...the cubbyhole crew are cracking the whip so it's time to get back to that darned crafty list of things to do.
Hugs Kath xxx

You must have been so busy preparing all that projects Kath, but it all looks fantastic. The ladies must have really enjoyed their crafting day.It looks as though you may get a wee seat outside for a coffee today, but we won't hold our breath.

My goodness those ladies were so deep in concentration on your tables but worth every minute, their makes were stunning. What a wonderful day for everyone and you so deserved a quiet day. I am sure you will work off those aches and pains in the Cubbyhole today or taking Cuddly Buddy for walks. Have a great day Kath. A x
