Less Is More Challenge...

Morning folks...so much for the Indian Summer weather that was supposed to happen in September...all we've had is 2 or 3 glorious days before it went pear shaped and back to windy chilly and wet AGAIN...mega miffed that we missed out on yesterday's day out but there's no point in crying over spilt milk...nothing else for it but to console ourselves with another day in the cubbyhole playing with Timmie's new stamps...it's such a hard life...being a crafty addict...
And I think this one may qualify for the challenge this week over at Less Is More...
PINK and BROWN
yes I know it's Friday so once again I'm skidding in by the seat of my pants...

But all that playing has it's drawbacks...the workdesk this morning looked like a tornado had blown through...how can having fun create such devastation...so I set to work at silly o'clock with help from the big guns...coffee...black bin bags and Mr Dyson and before you know we've cleared the decks all ready for a serious work day...
even the furry member of the crew is on his way to lend a helping hand...
with the workshop and demo stuff that's been piling up.  I...however needed a bit of persuasion...a kick up the butt to get back in the groove but I came up with a plan...negotiated a deal and a carrot on a stick incentive is on it's way...bribery works everytime so if I gee my ginger and hit the targets... I'll get to play with...
these gorgeous boys from Hero Arts...I just couldn't resist...no amount of trying to talk myself out of having them was ever going to work...they are fabulous "lots of mileage" stamps...perhaps a little tease for a workshop coming soon. But time to set the plan in motion...crank up the production line...motivate the crew and get cracking.
See you all tomorrow
Hugs Kath xxx

  7. Lovely card as always. I am so envious of your craft space, so much storage, and it is so tidy today! Mine regularly gets in a total tip, so I know how much hard work it is to get it looking like this!

  10. Loving your latest Christmas card Kath. I keep thinking I'm doing well with Christmas cards and then realise how close Christmas is. Made another appointment when I came out the blood donor unit yesterday and thought what date?!!!! It can't be that number of weeks till Christmas!

Hope it's going to stay nice today but I don't think I'll leave my washing out when I go to work in the afternoon!

  15. Hi Kath, your cubbyhole looks fantastic, who wouldn't love to play in there for a day. Love the pink on brown, the snowflake looks great along with the stitching. I can't say that I really like the other T.H.christmas stamps very trendy but not for me. I do like the Hero Art ones though, they are gorgeous and can't wait to see what you do with them. Have a good weekend, hope the sun shines.
