Hobbycraft Here I Come...

Morning folks...just checking in to let you know I arrived safely without any Mrs Numptie moments...the drive wasn't too bad although after sitting in one position for just short of 3 hours getting out of the car wasn't a pretty sight and even with the air con blasting away at full tilt...I arrived with my shirt well and truly stuck to my back and my knickers likewise to my bum but what a lovely surprise when I pulled into the car park of the...
beautiful hotel set in a picturesque village location...
for £53 a night B&B...I honestly wasn't expecting anything more than a basic bog standard room with a clean comfy bed to rest my weary head and was I pleasantly surprised...a beautiful room with a huge double bed...
And oh boy was I in need of some TLC...couldn't wait to get my shoes off and enjoy a cuppa sitting on the edge of the bath soaking my poor feet in freezing cold water followed by a nice cool shower...it was heavenly then I popped onto the bed and had an afternoon snooze...how decadent...is this how the other half live. After an early dinner which was delicious I headed back to my room with a glass of vino for a bit of TV watching...well what else is there to do in a hotel on your own...no Fiskars teamies to lead me astray on this occasion and oooh the luxury of that huge bed all to myself. I did miss the company of my Furry Sleeping Partner but certainly not his snoring nor his silly o'clock alarm calls and I slept like a log. I'm just about to hit the shower before I head down for breakfast...looking forward to pigging out as usual on the Full English with lots of coffee and toast...well a girl needs to top up her energy levels for a long day of playing at Hobbycraft which conveniently is only 3 miles down the road.
I'll leave you with one of the demo samples...
and I know what you're thinking...it looks a bit familiar...yes it's my Ribbon Girl Colour Challenge Gift Bag with a little bit of alteration adding this gorgeous Fiskars Fuse Butterfly...when your back's up against the wall time wise...us crafters have to fall back on a bit of the old adapt and overcome.
Enjoy your day whatever you've got planned and I'll be back tomorrow to let you know how it all went
Hugs Kath xxx
