Christmas With Tim Holtz...

Hi folks...blimey I think it's time to build an Ark...I can't believe how much rain has fallen in the last 2 days...it's been welly boots and sou'wester for me and doggy raincoat for The Furry Boy on our daily strolls...he's coping well with the new "loads of rest" regime and we're back to the vet today for a check-up along with no doubt another blowing the budget payout from the cubbyhole stash purse.
But back to the crafty stuff and time to share the last project from The Retreat...90 minutes of having fun with lots of Tim Holtz products...
to make a Christmas Wall Hanger with 2 of my favourite Tim Holtz Christmas Dies...
Winter Wonder and Tattered Poinsettia
using the fabulous Americana Chalk Paints and Crackle Medium from Decoart...
Distress Paints...Texture Paste and Merriment Washi Tape...
stamping with Handwritten Holidays and Worn Text
And seeing as we've been marooned by the weather in the cubbyhole...I've been clicking away with the camera and finally managed to put together a tutorial for the Christmas Advent Wreath which I'll be sharing on Friday.
Hugs Kath xxx

  2. If it makes you feel any better it could snow where I am at any time and not leave until next April. Fabulous Snowman! Love it!

  4. Love the wall hanger. Can't wait to see how to make the wreath. Here's hoping Buddy is getting better, in a way he has picked the best days to have to take short walks, this weather is horrible. Just not the kind you want to be going on long walks. Hazel x

  8. Oh my, that's a stunner! I think I need one...
Glad to hear Buddy is doing well. Hope the visit to the vet isn't too painful (for Buddy *or* the purse!)
And yes, I've contemplated the ark thing too... Our kitchen actually partially flooded on Monday, and we live at the top of a hill! The rain was coming down so hard it couldn't flow downhill fast enough so instead decided to divert into our kitchen! x

  9. Hi Kath, afa bonnie as they would say up here, a lovely bright project to hang up this Christmas. Love the snowman, I haven't raked him out this year yet but no doubt he'll make an appearance because I like him so much. Sun has popped out for a minute, hope he decides to stay for a while...
