and the theme for this week is...
NAUTICAL/BY THE SEA
I created a travel journal/notebook with the French Riviera Collection from Prima...the matching stencil...sea shells collected from the beach...sequins...Idea-ology Linen and Crinkle Ribbon.
I covered the WeR Memory Keepers 6 x 6 chipboard with paper from the Prima French Riviera 6"x6" paper pad and then ripped the plank paper into strips and fixed in place with Distress Collage Medium Matte.
I cut up a selection of images from the Journaling Card Sheet included in the paper pad to create a collage...
I applied a coat of Distress Collage Medium Matte over the collaged images and created a shadow around each one with the Faber Castell Walnut Big Brush Pen...
I cut strips of Idea-ology Linen Ribbon and teased it out to resemble netting and decorated with a chipboard starfish from the French Riviera Chipboard pack...seashells collected from the beach...sequins and an Idea-ology Vial filled with some dewdrops from my stash.
I used the WeR Memory Keepers Cinch to create my notebook...spritzed half of the Crinkle Ribbon with Evergreen Bough Distress Spray Stain and tied to the wires.
I was a little bit out of my comfort zone with this project because there was NO STAMPING but no doubt...normal service will probably be resumed next week.
