I stamped the sentiments from Simon Says Stamp Believe, inked with Versamark and sprinkled with Ranger Superfine White Embossing Powder. Die-cutting more snowflakes was not floating my boat so I looked out my Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Mini Weathered Winter and repeated the stamping and embossing process. I laid each panel aside and heat embossed them all in one go, that way your heat gun gets good and hot and there is less chance of the card warping.
I added the "keeping to a theme" 3 strips of Tim Holtz Idea-ology Christmas Design Tape and honestly, despite many makes, the dent in my supplies is minimal.
Then it was time to die-cut the gnomes from white card and Simon Says Stamp Schoolhouse Red with the help of my trusty Sidekick, what a star and workhorse this little guy is. Life is so much simpler since he arrived in the cubbyhole and I can't imagine crafting without him. I inked the nose with Worn Lipstick and the beard with Hickory Smoke Distress Oxide inks and assembled using Distress Collage Medium Matte. I only wanted the top half of the gnome, so I trimmed around the beard leaving a small border.
I attached the panels to the white gift bags, added a generous blob of Glossy Accents to the noses and left overnight to dry.
Labels printed and attached and the job is done.
What a fabulous sight, your grandson must be super pleased with everything Kath you have done some amazing creations, as always.xx
