To begin I trimmed Distress Watercolor card to measure 5.3/4" x 6.3/4" creating 2 panels. I die-cut Tim Holtz Sizzix Fanciful Snowflakes, Festive Repeat and Alphanumeric Classic Upper Thinlits from Distress Watercolor Card and fixed to the panels with Distress Collage Medium Matte. I painted the panels with a wash of Faded Jeans Distress Paint, wiped the paint off the die-cut sections with a damp cloth spritzed and added splatters of White Gesso to the background. I set the panel on the right aside to use on another project.
I die-cut a frame from Distress Watercolor card using the Stitched Rectangle Thinlits and fixed in place over the Festive Repeat die-cut.
I adhered Sizzix Adhesive Sheets to the back of Distress Watercolor card, Idea-ology Classic Kraftstock, which I had sanded back to reveal the kraft core, and Metallic KraftStock and die-cut all the pieces for Mr Snowman.
I lightly inked the white die-cut pieces with Faded Jeans Distress Ink and started the assembly which is easy peasy when all the pieces are self adhesive.
I placed Mr Snowman over the Festive Repeat Frame popped up on Sizzix Mini Foam Adhesive to create dimension and added Glossy Accents to his nose, eyes and mouth.
I added Idea-ology Small Talk Stickers and matted the panel on to a 5" x 7" White Card Blank.
Happy Christmas Crafting
