I began by adding 3 strips of Tim Holtz Idea-ology Christmas Design Tape to A2 Kraft blanks and stamped the sentiments from Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Merry Misfits and Tattered Christmas inked with Versamark and heat embossed with Ranger Superfine White Embossing Powder.
I die-cut the Simon Says Stamp Kate Snowflake from white card (3 for each card) and fixed in place with Distress Collage Medium Matte. Believe me when I tell you, by the end of this die-cutting adventure I was losing the will to live and with hindsight, I should have attached Sizzix Adhesive Sheets to the card, making the sticking down much faster.I die-cut the base, nose and beard of the gnome from white card and his hat and body from scraps of Simon Says Stamp Schoohouse Red and Tim Holtz Idea-ology Christmas Paper Stash, fixed in place with Distress Collage Medium Matte and added another snowflake.
I coloured his nose with Spun Sugar Distress Marker, sprinkled Stampendous Shabby White Embossing Enamel over the front of the card and heat set from underneath until melted.
At this stage, I had a change of heart and trimmed off the front of the card and fixed to a 5" x 7" white card blank.
The back of the card won't be wasted, I have a plan to use those up, so watch this space.
Have fun whatever you are creating
Toodle-oo for now
