Simon Says Stamp - Spooky

Hi Everyone...welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog. Thank you for joining us for last week's challenge and we hope you can join us this week too because

and the theme for this week is...
SPOOKY
I created a spooky page in my Dylusions Small Creative Journal using Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Halloween Snarky Cats, Sketched Manor and Anatomy Chart along with the Deco Arch and Script Layering Stencils

I began by spritzing the pages with Crushed Olive Distress Spray Stain and dried. I then spritzed Black Soot Distress Spray Stain through the Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Deco Arch Layering Stencil and dried. I spritzed the back of the stencil with the Black Soot, spritzed lightly with water and used to add monoprinting randomly on the page. I applied Picket Fence Distress Paint through the Script Layering Stencil using a mini round blending tool. I inked the image from Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Sketched Manor with Black Soot Distress Archival, stamped on to Idea-ology Plain Collage Paper and fixed to the page using Distress Collage Medium Matte. I repeated this process with the pumpkins from Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Halloween Snarky Cats, using a mask to stamp 3 pumpkins. I coloured the pumpkins and sections of the manor with a Spiced Marmalade Distress Crayon, added white highlights to the manor using a Sakura White Gel Pen and added Idea-ology Halloween Trim Tape.
I inked the snarky cat, broomstick, pumpkin from Halloween Snarky Cats and skeleton hands from Anatomy Chart and stamped on to scraps of Distress Watercolor card. I applied Distress Collage Medium Matte over the images, coloured with Distress Crayons using a Distress Detailer Brush, fussy cut and darkened the cat's eyes, nose and paws using a Sakura Black Glaze Pen. Once dry, I added Ranger Glossy Accents to the eyes and nose.
I stamped the witch's hat and bats on to scraps of Distress Watercolor card inked with Black Soot Distress Archival and fussy cut. I ended up not using the bats.
I added Mummy Cloth from Ideaology Halloween Trimmings and fixed the images in place with Distress Collage Medium, curling up the fingers of the skeleton hands to create dimension. I sanded Halloween Quote Chips to reveal the white core, peeled off the top layer to make them less chunky and fixed in place with Distress Collage Medium Matte.
I added splatters of Spiced Marmalade Distress Paint
I inked the text from Anatomy Chart with Distress Embossing ink, stamped randomly on the background and heat set with Ranger Superfine White Embossing Powder.
