Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous - Inquisitive

Hi my friends, I'm sharing the first of the cards I made for the Tim Holtz YouTube Live launch of the new stamps and stencils from Stampers Anonymous using Inquisitive and the Dotted Line Layering Stencil. If you missed the live launch, you can catch up with all the new stamps and stencils and the amazing inspirational project from all the makers HERE.

I began with a background I already had in my background box created on Distress Watercolor card using the Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Gears Layering Stencil with Speckled Egg and Vintage Photo Distress Spray Stains.
I applied Speckled Egg Distress Oxide ink through the Dotted Line Layering Stencil, sprinkled with Speckled Egg and Vintage Photo Embossing Glazes, tapped lightly on the back to mix the glazes and heat set.
I tapped the Speckled Egg Distress Oxide ink on to a torn piece of Idea-ology Stencil card, sprinkled with the Embossing Glaze and heat set.
I stamped one of the gent images and sentiments from Inquisitive with Distress Black Soot Distress Archival on to the panel.
I stamped the image again on to a scrap of Distress Watercolor card left over from the background, fussy cut around the hat and face, coloured the eyelids with Speckled Egg Distress Paint and fixed to the image using Sizzix Foam Adhesive to create dimension. I tapped Speckled Egg Distress Paint on to Idea-ology Hex Fasteners, rubbed Walnut Stain Distress Crayon into the detail, sprinkled with Speckled Egg and Vintage Photo Embossing Glazes, heat set and added to the panel.
I die-cut questions marks from Idea-ology black KraftStock from the Neutral stack using Tim Holtz/Sizzix Alphanumeric Classic and Bold Thinlits, layered to create dimension and using my trusty squeezers from Tim Holtz/Sizzix Shaping Kit, your best friend when it comes to picking up those itty bitty full stops and fixing them in place with Distress Collage Medium.

I'll be back soon to share another make with the fabulous new stamps and stencils from Tim Holtz and Stampers Anonymous, in the meantime, have fun with whatever you are creating.
Hugs Kath xxx
