Simon Says - Add Some Texture

Hi Everyone...welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog. Thank you for joining us for last week's challenge and we hope you can join us this week too because

The first Monday of the Month means that the Design Team are showcasing products from one particular brand/company and this month, we are all using the fabulous products from Katzelkraft. You don't have to use these products to join in with the challenge, but if you have them in your stash, we would love to see how you use them.
We are also welcoming 2 Designers In The Spotlight this month, the lovely and talented  Teresa York and Gita Roolf  and if you haven't visited their Instagram pages yet, pop over, you will be in for a real treat.

The theme this week is...
ADD SOME TEXTURE
I created Christmas cards using Katzelkraft Winter Scene on Distress Oxide ink blended backgrounds, added texture with Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Snowflakes and Falling Stars Mini Layering Stencils using Distress Grit Paste Snowfall and Distress Grit Paste Opague and used sentiments from Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Sketched Greenery.
I created 2 ink blended backgrounds on Distress Watercolor card using Distress Oxide inks, Blueprint Sketch, Mustard Seed and Twisted Citron on the left and Picked Raspberry, Mustard Seed and Black Soot on the right. I also blended Black Soot around the edges of the panel on the left, splattered with water droplets and dried.
I stamped the KatzelKraft Winter Scene inked with Black Soot Distress Archival ink. Can you tell that the image on the stamp packaging was my colour inspiration.
I applied Distress Grit Paste Snowfall through Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Snowflakes Layering Stencil. This paste looks milky when applied but will dry somewhat clear and pick up the colours of the ink it's applied over.
I applied Distress Grit Paste Opague through the Falling Stars Mini Layering Stencil from Set 38 and sprinkled with Distress Rock Candy Glitter while the paste was still wet.
I trimmed the panels, matted on to Distress Black HeavyStock panels and fixed to white card blanks.
I inked the sentiment stamps from Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Sketched Greenery with Versamark ink, stamped on to scraps of Distress Black HeavyStock, sprinkled with white embossing powder, heat set and trimmed using Simon Says Nested Banners die.
I fixed the sentiments in place with Simon Says black foam squares and added Trinity Stamps Frosty Snowflakes Sprinkles.
