Tim Holtz STAMPtember 2023 - Take 2

Hi my friends, I'm sharing the second card I made for the YouTube Live launch of Tim Holtz STAMPtember 2023 release in collaboration with Simon Says Stamp which, no surprise, has SOLD OUT. 

I trimmed Tim Holtz/Idea-ology Backdrops paper to 4.3/4" x 6.3/4", applied a thin coat of Distress Texture Paste Sparkle with a large brush and fixed to a 5" x 7" panel of Distress Kraft HeavyStock.  I die-cut two tags from Distress Mixed Media HeavyStock using Tim Holtz/Sizzix Stacked Tags Thinlits. I spritzed Iced Spruce Distress Spray Stain and Rustic Wilderness Distress Oxide Spray on to my craft mat and pulled the tag through the ink, spritzed with water and dried. I tapped the tag repeatedly back on to the ink to pick up the remaining droplets and dried. I inked the Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Ticking background stamp with Rustic Wilderness Distress Oxide and stamped on to the second. I stamped one of the sentiments from the stamp set on to the tag repeatedly, inked with Barn Door Distress Archival ink. I added shading around the edges of both tags with Rustic Wilderness Distress Oxide ink using a mini round blending tool. I stamped the reindeer wreath, holly and snowflake images from the stamp set with Black Soot Distress Archival ink and coloured with Distress Oxide re-inkers using a Distress Detailer Brush. I added white details to the reindeer antlers using a Sakura White Gelly Roll Pen and used a Sakura Black Glaze Pen to add shine on the eyes.

I applied Distress Grit Paste Snowfall and Distress Grit Paste Opague through the stencils and once the pastes had dried, added Distress Texture Paste Sparkle to the white snowflakes using a small brush. I die-cut the tag reinforcer from Distress Watercolor card, coloured with Lumberjack Plaid Distress Oxide ink and decorated with a red twine double bow. I added small stars die-cut using Tim Holtz/Sizzix Arctic Thinlits, added Glossy Accents to the berries and once dry, highlighted with a Sakura White Gelly Roll Pen.

I coloured a scrap of Distress Watercolor card with Lumberjack Plaid Distress Oxide ink, stamped the snowflakes and sentiment with Black Soot Distress Archival ink, sprinkled Ranger Black Embossing Powder over the sentiment only and heat set. I applied a coat of Distress Texture Paste Sparkle over the sentiment banner and fixed to the panel with foam squares. To finish I fixed the panel to a 5" x 7" white card blank.
