Hi Everyone...welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog. Thank you for joining us for last week's challenge and we hope you can join us this week too because

I'm inviting you to come along and explore the magic of a walk through a wintry forest. I used Tim Holtz Idea-ology Christmas 2023 Backdrops, the carrier sheet from Stampers Anonymous Layering Stencils, Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Winter Woodlands and Winterscape, Snowflakes Layering Stencil and Ranger Distress Snowfall Grit Paste and Distress Rock Candy Glitter to decorate a gift bag.

I trimmed the Tim Holtz Idea-ology Christmas backdrops paper to fit the front of the gift bag.

I trimmed the backing sheet from Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Layering stencils to be slight smaller, stamped the tree from Winter Woodlands 3 times, inked with Black Soot Distress Archival ink.

I stamped the snowman from Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Winterscape, inked with Black Soot Distress Archival ink and left the stamp on the lid of my stamp platform. I coloured the snowman using my Distress Watercolor palette and a Detailer Brush and restamped the image again to re-define the details.

I applied Distress Snowfall Grit Paste through Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Snowflakes Layering Stencils and sprinkled with Distress Rock Candy Glitter.

I fixed the sentiment from Tim Holtz Idea-ology Christmas 2023 Sticker Book to a scrap of white card, sanded the edges with a mini round blending tool and sanding disk and fixed in place with Distress Collage Medium. I added splatters of Distress Resist Spray, sprinkled with white embossing powder and heat set to add a sprinkling of the snow in the background. I tattered the edges of the panel with Tim Holtz Paper Distresser and fixed to the gift bag using Distress Collage Medium.

To finish, I added red ribbon and white and red thread bows to the handle of the gift bag.
