Simon Says - Happy Love Day

Hello my friends, I'm back to share another card made using the Slider Camera and Typewriter stamp set from Simon Says Love Story February Kit. Seriously, there is so much in this kit and I have barely made a dent in the bundle of goodies included. The kit is still available to purchase HERE or if you wish, you can also buy individual items from the kit.

I smooshed the Worn Lipstick Distress Oxide ink pad over Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Heart Layering Stencil, spritzed with water and pressed on to an A2 panel of Distress Watercolor card to create a monoprint effect on the background.
I trimmed down one of the large pieces of ephemera from Simple Stories Vintage Love Story Bits and Pieces pack, inked the edge with Scorched Timber Distress Ink using a Distress Tiny Blending Tool, fixed to the panel with Distress Collage Medium and repeated the inking around the panel.
I stamped the typewriter, notecard and sentiment from Simon Says Slider Camera and Typewriter stamp set, inked with Simon Says Intense Black ink, on to Distress Watercolor card and die-cut using the matching dies. I popped the notecard into the slot on the typewriter created by the die and added subtle shading using Worn Lipstick Distress Oxide ink and Detailer Water Brush. I fixed the typewriter in place with foam squares to create dimension.
To finish I added a butterfly and heart circle from the Simple Stories Vintage Love Story Bits and Pieces Ephemera pack and fixed the panel to an A2 top folding white card blank.
