Simon Says - Tie It Up

Hi Everyone...welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog. Thank you for joining us for last week's challenge and we hope you can join us this week too because

and the theme for this week is...

TIE IT UP

With Valentine's Day just around the corner, I made treat boxes and a gift card holder using Tim Holtz/Sizzix Vault Pillow Box + Bag Thinlits, decorated with hearts and sentiments from Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Love Notes and Lumberjack, Simon Says Big XOXO dies and Sparkly Hearts Gem Stickers, all tied up with ribbons and twine from my stash.

I spritzed Picked Raspberry Distress Spray Stain and Spun Sugar Distress Oxide Spray on to my Tim Holtz Media Mat, spritzed with water and used to colour 3 panels of 8.5" x 11" of Distress Watercolor card.

I scored and folded one panel to create the tall box and die-cut Tim Holtz/Sizzix Vault Pillow Box + Bag, along with the labels from the other two panels. I stamped the large heart from Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Love Notes, inked with Kitsch Flamingo and Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide inks, on to the boxes and bag using Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Lumberjack background, inked with Black Soot Distress Archival with the kissing technique. I stamped the Lumberjack background randomly over the background, holding the stamp in my hand and rolling it over the surface. I stamped the small heart and outline heart inked with Black Soot Distress Archival.

I assembled the boxes and bag using Simon Says Red Line Tape.

I fixed ribbon around the tall box and added a double bow to the top of the box.

I die-cut Simon Says Big XO from Distress Black HeavyStock and left over coloured card 4 times and fixed around the bottom edges of the box with Distress Collage Medium.

I inked the sentiments from Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Love Notes with Versamark ink, stamped on to scraps of Distress Black HeavyStock, sprinkled with Ranger White Detail Embossing Powder, heat set, fussy cut and fixed to the boxes and bag with Distress Collage Medium.

I fixed Spellbinders Black Hemp Cord around the pillow bow, tied in a double bow and added a label stamped with a sentiment and heart.

I tied ribbon coloured with Kitsch Flamingo Distress Spray Stain around the bottom of the bag, tied in a bow and added stamped labels and a gift card.

To finish I added Simon Says Rainbow Splash Sparkly Hearts to the boxes and bag.
