Hello my friends, February is the month of love and I'm sharing a card made using Simon Says Love Ya Tag and goodies included in the Love Story February Card Kit. I can't believe that this beautiful card kit has not sold out yet. It's filled to the brim with lots of products that will become favourites and you can check it out HERE.
I trimmed the Cotton Candy cardstock included in the kit to 4" x 5.1/4", embossed using the Rainbow Splash Cascading Hearts folder also included in the kit and added subtle shading around the edges with Worn Lipstick Distress Oxide ink.
I die-cut Simon Says Love Ya Tag from Simple Stories Vintage Love Story patterned paper and Distress Watercolor card.
I die-cut the tags again, trimmed the bottom edge and fixed to the tags to add some contrast. I die-cut the Love Ya Tag sentiment from Distress Watercolor card, coloured with Worn Lipstick Distress Oxide ink, fixed to the tag with Distress Collage Medium, using the die-cut negative as a template for placing the letters.
I attached twine and a bow to the tags and fixed in place with foam squares to add dimension. I fixed the butterflies and heart from Simple Stories Vintage Love Story Bits and Pieces Ephemera pack in place and added a Rainbow Splash Sparkly Heart.
To finish I matted the panel on to a top folding A2 white card blank.
There is so much more in this kit to play with, so I'm on a mission this week to share more cards with you. In the meantime, have fun with whatever you are creating.
Hugs Kath xxx
So beautiful Kath x
