Woohoo, They're Back

Hello my friends, if you tuned into the Tim Holtz Distress Paint Asked + Answered Live, you'll know that Ranger have brought 28 iconic colours of Distress Paint back into the collection and now would be a good time to restock any of the colours you may be missing. If you missed the Live, you can check it out HERE.

After adding dots of each colour to panels of Distress Watercolor card, I decided to add a little stamping and die-cut sentiments to turn them into a set of cards to gift to a friend.

I divided the paints into 7 sets of 4, roughly in colour families and trimmed Distress Watercolor card to create 7 - 4.1/4" square panels. I added a drop of each paint colour on to my Glass Media Mat and added 4 dots of each of the 4 colours to each panel using Distress Tiny Blending Tools. I stamped the floral images from Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Embroidery on to the panels inked with Versafine Clair Nocturne Ink.
I fixed Sizzix Adhesive Sheet to the backside of Distress Black HeavyStock and Distress Watercolor card, die-cut the words using Tim Holtz/Sizzix Handwritten Celebrate, Love and Journey Thinlits and fixed to the panels.
I completed the sentiments using Simon Says Stamp Reverse Friends, Reverse All The Love Sentiment Strips and Journaling Strips.
I matted the panels on to 4.1/2" square white card blanks.

Enjoy your weekend whatever you have planned and I'll be back on Monday to share my DT project for Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge.
Hugs Kath xxx
