Daring Cardmakers/Allsorts Challenge

Morning Folks....a slight change of plan to my day yesterday....I had three visitors....Brodie....Oliver....Karen my DIL and boy oh boy was it hot.....now I am not complaining one little bit but the little ones were absolutely pooped not to mention Grandma......Oliver had to have a snooze after lunch and I managed a forty winks when Brodie came indoors to cool off and watch a DVD...... then a little bit of crafting after tea.....and boy it was still hot at 9pm.....so it was time to give the garden a good soaking......feet up for an hour and off to bed early to recharge the old batteries...even "The Budster" was plain tuckered out and snoring like a train.
The challenge this week on Daring Cardmakers has been set by the lovely Sue and is.....

TAKE FIVE
to use 5 of the same element on your card
and surprise..surprise....I chose FLOWERS
I have been determined that come hell or high water I am going to play with some of my fabulous new Hero Arts goodies (and would you believe more of the blighters just jumped into my basket on my craft shop visit on Saturday) so hang onto your hats folks....it's going to be a Hero Arts Fest for the next few weeks......
And at last I have managed to join in with the fabulous Allsorts Challenge Blog....well how could I resist...run by two lovely bloggy buds.....Emma and Kirsten.....we met at Harrogate and they are absolute sweethearts...and of course their banner has my all time fave sweets.....Licorice Allsorts.

CURLY SWIRLY
My most favourite Hero Arts.....Old Letter Writing and Heart Flourish
Flowers & Sentiment...Hero Arts: Share the Laughter Stamp Set
Hero Arts Clear Buttons
Twine from stash
Ink Pads: Tim Holtz Distress...Walnut Stain & Brushed Corduroy
Hero Arts Shadow Ink: Soft Blossom
That's it for today folks......and after 3 days off from crafting......yikes that must be some kind of record...I am suffering withdrawals so it's back to the cubbyhole and get stuck into some DT work....and maybe a challenge or two....toodle..oo or now.....Hugs Kath xxxxxx
