And the saga....well a little warning....are you in close proximity to the loo or are you wearing your tena ladies because believe me folks....I couldn't make this up if I tried......I am beginning to think that I have offended someone in high places or Mr Jinx has taken up residence.
I printed off two of the branch and birdie images.....carefully coloured using TH's Distress Inks and my water brush and then cut out leaving a small border around the edge and that took an age.....stuck to fabby paper and card done and dusted. Put out onto the patio table ready for the photography session and popped inside to get my camera.....and the phone rang.....can you guess.....I am blethering away quite unaware of the drama unfolding outside....yes in my absence the heavens had opened and I arrived back to a soggy inky runny mess....printer ink does not like wet...a card that Picasso would have been proud of....and yes I was a little miffed about having to start all over again....all that cutting out....and must admit a few bad wordies did cross my lips but hey ho.....no point in crying over spilt milk and it did give me a laugh.....never a dull moment here and who says that crafting isn't fun....just as long as these kinda fun moments don't happen too often.
The second version will be winging it's way this morning to my lovely bloggy bud Alison who was admitted to hospital on Tuesday with an abscess on her tonsils but is recovering well and hopefully will soon be home.......the soggy version would have cheered her up no end....perhaps not a great idea...she might have split her sides laughing.
Well off to get some food shopping...old Mother Hubbard's cupboard is looking decidely bare.....maybe get a challenge card done later but will catch up with you all tomorrow for another fabulous challenge over at Penny Black Saturday.
Hugs Kath xxxxxx
I'm not sure if I had started again if this had happened to me. But your card is lovely and you did a brilliant job cutting everything out.
