Get Funky Challenge......December

Morning folks.....yes can you believe it.....it's the first day of December already and that means time for another challenge over at Get Funky.......and this month it's my turn to set the challenge......well no points for guessing what the theme of the challenge might be this month......it's.......

DECK THE HALLS
with boughs of holly...fa la..la...la...la..la...la

make an item to decorate your home.....a decoration for your tree or Christmas table.... place settings...a gift box or bag......it may be that your Christmas decorations have seen better days...well why not have a go at making some or you may be trying to cut back a little on the cost of Christmas.....it seems to get more and more expensive every year and you know what folks.....I'm sure your family would be over the moon to receive something that you had made.

I decided to make a wall decoration from 3 old CD's.....oh yes the free ones that you get nearly every weekend with the Sunday newspapers......and the cost.....NOTHING.....all stuff that I already had lying around in my crafty cubbyhole.....and no doubt you have lots of stuff  you could use too.

Papers & Letters: Funky Hand "Tis the Season" Word Book Download
Circle Punch to create scalloped border
Ribbon...buttons and thread from stash
Pearls: Papermania
Snowflake..Cuttlebug Die

And this took one evening to make.....OK it was a little bit fiddly but now that I have made one....the first is always a bit of a prototype....I'm sure I could rattle them out in no time.......can't wait to see what you all create for this month's challenge....and I know you are busy....but we really do appreciate you taking time to join in the fun and there is always the added incentive of winning a £20 gift voucher to spend at Funky Hand.
Make sure you pop over to GET FUNKY and check out all the fabulous creations from our very talented team and say a big welcome to our brand new teamies JULES and KATHY who are taking part in their first monthly challenge.....no pressure then girls.
Catch up with you all later......Hugs Kath xxxxxx
Edited to add: to answer Jenny' question...yes the ribbon is threaded through the CD's and I made the holes with that awesome tool......The Crop-a-dile...punched 2 holes side by side.
