We have an expression in this neck of the woods....
"ne'er cast a clout until May be oot"
(don't discard your warm winter clothing)
and there is a bit of a dispute whether it means the end of the month of May or the blossom appearing on the Hawthorn (May) tree.....but whatever it means....won't be discard anything today....it's a tad chilly here.
It's the first challenge of the month over at Daring Cardmakers and that means it's the birthstone for May..EMERALD
Prized since ancient times, a fine emerald can be more expensive
than a high quality diamond of the same carat weight."
Don't know if you could quite call this colour Emerald...more like
Peridot but hey ho..I couldn't find any Emerald papers so I am claiming artistic licence once again...

And look what I received...this cute award from my lovely Dutch bloggy buddy..... Marja.....
thank you so much Marja for your lovely kind words....I really do appreciate you thinking of me....I would love to own a pair of Dutch clogs....no way would "The Budster" be able to steal these....oh yes he is back to running off with my slippers again.....because the CROCS have gone to shoe heaven....worn right through on the sole. The wrist is feeling slightly less painful so fingers crossed the crafty conveyor belt will be back on full speed ahead soon.
Catch up with you all tomorrow when I will featuring my samples for the latest download at Funky Hand.....Flutterby Flowers Digi Stamps.....running seriously behind on this one....it's only been released for a week and I am doing "my coo's tail" thing again....sorry Anice.
