Get Funky Challenge - May

Morning folks and yes a brand new month and that means it's time for a new challenge over at Get Funky.  Big thank you to everyone who joined the gang for the April Showers Challenge....loved all your fabulous creations...so pop on over to see who has been chosen as last month's lucky winner.
The challenge this month has been set by my lovely teamie and bloggy bud Enfys who has challenged us all to make a......

SHAPED CARD
(any shape as long as it's not square or rectangle)

Papers: Funky Hand....Dreams Come True
Flowers and Leaves: Hero Arts...Artistic Borders & Scattered Leaves
Sentiment: Hero Arts....Mi Casa

This was a little out of my comfort zone....I am not a shaped card kinda girl.....all the cards I make are 14.5cm square and after my faffing around morning on Wednesday I was not in the best frame of mind....but hey not wanting to blow my own trumpet.....I was pleasantly surprised how it turned out and more than a little relieved that it wasn't a "into the bin and start all over again" card.
So now it's your turn....but if you are a bit apprehensive....pop over and get some inspiration from my fabulous teamies.....wow they are such a talented bunch.    You have one whole month to get your thinking caps on and remember one lucky crafter will be chosen at the end of the month to receive a £20 voucher to spend at Funky Hand.   Look forward to seeing what you all create this month and will be popping over to pay you a visit.....and tomorrow "The Budster" will be popping over to introduce you to the gorgeous Miss Ruby.

Loving those zingy colours and I am really falling in love with the Hero Arts stamps, only got a couple at the moment but as soon as my kids stop needing new uniforms, shoes blah blah blah and I can have some money for me I will treat myself LOL!

  10. Love this flowerpot card. I'm not keen on doing anything but square or rectangle cards either! I did do one like this last year with a friend and discovered it wasn't that difficult. But I still prefer ordinary cards or easel cards lol!
