Happy New Year to all my lovely buddies out there in bloggy land from your gorgeous bundle of golden deliciousness and big furry snuggles for all the Christmas cards and treats that arrived in the cubbyhole for me and I am doing my best to munch my way through them. Honestly I am mightily relieved that it's over and done with for another year....crikey I am an absolute wreck...totally exhausted. I have to tell you I was terrified to stay too long in one place risking being trampled underfoot by that mad "I must be organised" machine otherwise known as Mum...all in the name of one day called Christmas which by the way was over in the flick of my tail. And now of course she has picked up some of those nasty germs that you humans seem to do so well....coughing sneezing and doing her best impression of my hang dog look...well and truly under the weather. She has shown absolutely no interest in the online crafty sales and surprise surprise didn't say a word about my latest rummaging expedition in the cubbyhole....was this more serious than I thought...would I need to call the doctor....apparently not when a knight in shining armour worked his special magic.....yes the guy with the initials TH came up trumps with the tickets for her hot date in February....crikey what a difference a day makes...she is now bouncing around and full of the joys of spring.....thank you Lord Holtz...your miracle post Christmas tonic has well and truly done the trick.
I am making a New Year Resolution all of my own....to make a serious dent in the cubbyhole stash problem starting off with the first of many "Buddy's Bumper Give-Away" boxes and if I say so myself I think I may have excelled myself this time.....so here goes.....a 12 x 12 box jammed pack with goodies....

ReplyDeleteOh, I had to smile when I read your post! You remind me of my own little "Lizzy", a very small helper, but big on enthusiasm none the less! She lays at my feet while I scrap, nearly gets run over by the wheels on my office chair, and announces anytime the UPS guy brings goodies!! And always has a bit of paper, or ribbon, or sparkle on her nose from my trash can! Happy New Year!
