Morning folks....much to my surprise I spent the whole day yesterday in the cubbyhole crafting.....the problem has been that my usual routine is all to pot with hubby being at home....he has taken over the doggy strolls...being doing the household chores while I have faffed around not doing much of anything so roll on Thursday morning when he will be out from under my feet and we will be back to normal.....don't know about you girls but the less I have to do...the less I seem to get done. I did have to tempt myself with a little reward to get back into crafting mode and most of the stuff I can't share with you yet apart from this cutie.....
Papers: Kraft Card
Pink Petticoat.....Little Fleurs
Image: Woodware
Hero Arts....Friendly Flags
Typewriter Letters
Button from stash
The Ribbon Girl.....Divine Twine
Fiskars....Scalloped Lace
and my reward for putting on my big knickers and giving it my best shot....a welcome cuppa and 2 slices of Christmas Yumminess....and before you say anything.....my motto is you can never get enough of a good thing and it's only once a year after all...
The Furry Boy is not the only one having a cubbyhole clear out.....he's right for once we do need to have a serious de-stash...so here come the first of many give-aways....just leave me a comment here before midnight on Saturday 8th and I will announce the lucky winner on Sunday.
Polkadoodles CD's...Back To Nature...Sugar Birdies...Candy Doodles
The good news is my DT bundle of deliciousness has just arrived from
The Ribbon Girl...the wandering slipper has turned up and I can feel it's going to be another crafty day... .so see you all tomorrow over at
WOYWW.
Hugs Kath xxx

ReplyDeleteLove your style, cubbyhole, coffee, cake, crafting, chatting, cheers.
ReplyDeleteI know exactly what you mean Kath I love having hubby and son at home but it felt lovely this morning when they went back to work and school respectively and now the house is quiet. I have so far taken down the decorations , written some letters, found something hubby had lost, put out the bins and rubbish and am now having half an hour blogging. Have to say though I had to make myself a list of things to do and still have some to do but as my resolutiuon is to slow down and accept I can't do everything in a day there is still loads of time left. Have a fab day and love the pink with the kraft and such a cute image, thanks for sharing and have a fab week, cuddles to Buddy too.
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year.Great blog,ideas and chat.Buddy is such a cutie.xxx
ReplyDeleteKnow just what you mean about hubby being at home....nice as it might be....it definately throws all my routine out.

Kath, I know what you mean about routine changing when other people are in the house. I've had my youngest son off school for nearly 2.5 weeks (going back tomorrow), my eldest son has gone back to work since being off since Christmas Eve and my husband went back to work on Sunday after being off since Christmas Eve) so you don't seem to get a routine when others are around. What a gorgeous card and that cake looks yummyyyyyyyyy. Give Buddy a good cuddle. Best wishes, Kym xxx
ReplyDeleteHi Kath, love the colours on the card.Happy New Year to you. Hubby went back to work today, son going back to schol tomorrow-I go back next Monday, so will have 3 days to myself to hopefully do the things I planned to do before the flu took over!Hopefully I'll get some crafting done!

Hi Kath! Love that sweet card! Just adorable! And boy, oh boy do I know what you mean about having hubby "under foot!" Mine's been home the last four out of five days and it can really screw up the routine! Enjoy your day!
ReplyDeleteQuite agree, I absolutely love the time off and the Big Day but I get so out of whack with my routine that I don't know whether I'm coming or going! I rarely achieve anything crafty either, although this year I've managed a couple of things. I'm on my second day back at work and I still feel like I've been run over by a bus! Oh well, back to normal soon no doubt. Love the cute little card and yummy Christmas cake, we still have quite a bit of ours left. And that's a great little mug too! Thanks for the chance to win the goodies and see you tomorrow for WOYWW.
ReplyDeleteHugs
Brenda
What a cute card. I agree about it being once a year but I think I put enough pounds on during that one week a year that it takes me the rest of the year to get it back off:)
ReplyDeleteGreat blog, enjoy catching up with you and your dogs antics after a boring day at work. Thank you and Happy new Year.
