Less Is More Challenge...Week 9

Morning everyone and Happy Mother's Day to all the Mums out there...hope you are having breakfast in bed and being spoilt rotten.  A big thank you for all your lovely caring messages...you are just the best bloggy buddies and believe me it means a lot to me.  I am off to spend the day with my sweet snuggly grandkiddies but before I go another attempt at the Less is More Challenge....looks like this is fast becoming yet another of my many addictions.
The challenge this week is...
A TOUCH OF RED
and after a couple of days of crafting disasters perhaps things are beginning to look up...this gorgeous bundle of redness landed on the cubbyhole desk the other day..my DT goodie parcel from The Ribbon Girl..absolutely perfect for the challenge....don't you just love when a plan comes together.

Image: Hero Arts...CL 322 Artistic Borders
one of my very favourite Hero Arts stamp sets...love this flower overstamped with
S5433 - Large Canvas Stripes....another favourite
Sentiment: Hero Arts...Cl491 Made With Love
Red Ruffle Gingham Ribbon....The Ribbon Girl

and you could win this gorgeous Mother's Day give-away from The Ribbon Girls
so pop over for the details of how you can enter

and by the way Colour Challenge 6 ends today so if you haven't already entered....you'd better get crafting to be in with a chance of winning a fabulous Colour Selection Kit.
Now cast your mind back to my card for last week's challenge....one I probably wouldn't send to anyone because of the quirky sentiment so rather and let it go to waste....I got chopping and with a bit of help from grungepaper..fabric..felt..Multi Medium...pearls and some of Tim's idea-ology bits and pieces...I turned it into a needlecase....if you are anything like me I can never find a needle when I need one.

catch up with you all tomorrow.
Hugs Kath xxx

  15. Brill card Kath, with just the right amount of red to make it really pop!

Genius idea to make a needle holder out of last weeks card. I'm never sure about using quirkier sentiments as I figure I'll never be able to use or sell the cards.
