Penny Black Saturday Challenge...Week 146

Morning folks...it's Saturday once again and time for a brand new challenge over at Penny Black Saturday.....well done to all those who entered a card for Domi's sketch....you well and truly rocked it.
The challenge this week is.....
SAY IT WITH FLOWERS
and if you are anything like me....I rarely make a card without some sort of flower on it but hey I may just have went a bit overboard this week...hardly less is more..is it...

Papers: Basic Grey....Sugared
Image:: Penny Black....Gifts For You
Martha Stewart Punch
Yummy Seam Binding.....The Ribbon Girl
Flowers: Wild Orchid Crafts
Sizzlits Flowers Branches & Leaves Die

Yes I've actually cut into a whole sheet of 12 x 12 patterned paper...now that's something that doesn't happen very often and as a result I have mountains of the stuff stashed away in boxes...so in a mad declutter moment yesterday I had a big clear out....3 black bin bags have now gone to the skip...it was donkeys years old and believe me nothing that any self respecting crafter would want but strangely the cubbyhole doesn't look any emptier.    I will be sharing some of the excess good stuff with you once I get my hands on a couple of pizza boxes...so watch this space.
Meanwhile onto this week's prize from
1-2-3 Stitch
$20 voucher to spend in their online store where you'll find lots of Penny Blacks to tempt you

Off to get my crafty stuff packed into the car ready for this afternoon's class at The Papeterie....the weather is promising to be glorious again and oh dear me I've just realised I will miss the Grand National unless I can crack the whip and bring all those lovely crafters home past the winning post in record time.....enjoy your weekend whatever you are doing.  I'll catch up with you all tomorrow for a sneaky peek of the finished canvasses.
Hugs Kath xxx
Edited to add:   thanks girls for the heads up on the dodgy link....the wrong paper listed and my local crafty group is still trying to make a dent in my last crafty clear out....so there was nothing for it but a trip to the skip.

  1. Good Morning Kath, Love your card so pretty, and guess what, great minds and all that, I was looking though all my old papers, got loads of K & Co, and basic grey, think that one is Sugured.

It is a beautiful morning here too.

Good Luck if you had a bet.

    Big Hugs Carol xx

  2. Cute card.

I don't know about the UK but in Australia quite a few crafters donate their old papers to their school or kindy. The kids don't care that it's not the latest and it doesn't go to waste.

  17. Fantastic card, such a cute image and lovely flowers too. I am more of a flower person than a character image, my sister is totally opposite.
