Girls Just Want To Have Fun

Morning folks...I've got that feeling...you know the one when you look forward to something and before you know it's been and gone...after all the weeks of preparation our "Girls Just Want To Have Fun" Workshop day in Aberdeen just flew by and oh boy did we have a fantastic day with all the lovely crafty girls who came along to join Debbi...Anne and yours truly for a creative day of generally making mayhem...aka painting...decoupaging...inking and loads and loads of altered art fun...thank you all so much for your wonderful company and if you enjoyed the day even half as much as we did...we are happy...happy.
Here's my workstation all set up and ready for the off and believe me it never looked this tidy again...
Anne's Crafty Girls enjoying a coffee...
before getting all creative with this "sew lovely" altered mannequin
 Debbi's Notebook Girls...
making a yummy altered notebook and "quelle surprise" not a Promarker in sight...
and my "heads down" crafty girls busy painting...
my workshop project...which I made into a photobox dedicated to who else but my special Furry Boy
but not everyone wants a homage to His Nibs on their wall so it was entirely up to each crafty girl to decide what they wanted to use it for...a cute storage caddy for their craft room...a decorative item to fill with personal bits and pieces...it would be absolutely gorgeous made up as a gift for a new baby's bedroom and I loved Greta's idea of filling it with miniature doll's house furniture...that what's I love about crafting...give folks an idea and before you know they are off and running with it...the only limit is their imagination...
the 3 projects from "The Girls Who Just Want To Have Fun" Team
and look who popped in to say hello....yes the gorgeous Easter Bunny...

Thanks to everyone who came along and made the day extra special...to Lyn who made the team extra happy with mega bags of Mini Eggs...my absolute favourites and huge hugs to my lovely GJWTHF buddies Debbi and Anne...the dream team and to Charlotte...Pearl...Rachel and Megan at The Papeterie for all their help and support.  But it's time to get our heads together once again and plan 3 entirely new projects for our next fun day out at "Girls Just Want To Have Fun" in Perth on 9th June...if you want to join in what is guaranteed to be a fun crafty day...there are still a few places available...contact Debbi at wiccababe@btopenworld.com for details.
A little reminder that you only have until 8pm tonight to enter my gorgeous
See you all tomorrow

  6. Oh I am so envious, I want to come to one of your classes sooo much! Why do you have to be so far away...Buddy looks amazing in the little house and that mannekin looks like amazing fun. So glad you had a good day, it was worth all the effort of prepping.

  12. Don't know about anyone else but I feel as if I haven't done anything useful since Saturday! Can't decide what to do with my little house. Maybe I should have bought another one to make something for Poppy. I loved all the projects, wait till Susan sees what she missed!
