Having Fun With Altered Art

Morning folks...time to share some pics from the "Altered Art" Night at The Papeterie...a big thank you to all the enthusiastic crafters who came along to play at what was a bit of a messy finger painty...gluey and alcohol ink night but they all rose to the challenge and sailed through the 3 projects with flying colours and of course special thank you's to my fellow tutor buddies Debbi and Charlotte...not forgetting the staff at The Papeterie for all their help and last but not least Jenny for the fabulous buffet especially those cupcakes which were yummy delish
The idea behind the Altered Art Night was to give crafters who perhaps had never dabbled before a little taste of Altered Art using different techniques and products and here's what we made at my happy work station...decorating an Art Wall Tile with Paperartsy Fresco Finish Paints...stamping on Tim Holtz Chipboard die-cuts...Tissue Wrap Decoupage and stamping with bubble wrap and paint.

I'll be back tomorrow with a yummy Ribbon Girl Give-Away
Hope you're enjoying your Bank Holiday Weekend
Hugs Kath xxx
oops forgot to mention The Papeterie are hosting another "Altered Art" Workshop on Sunday 15th July 10.00am-3.00pm...3 (90minute) workshops from Debbi Charlotte and myself...buffet lunch...refreshments and loads of fun at no extra cost...I have heard whisperings that it may be "Christmas In July"....oops I'll be getting my lips stapled again...places are limited so if you want to come along and play...call 01224 802337 to book a place.

Looks like you all had great fun. I love the altered art tile, that would look great on my wall. Now where did I put that bubble wrap...?

  9. Looks like you had enormous fun - tissue wrap decoupage? Now wonder if I can ask my husband for both of Tim's Compendii - or perhaps it's Compendia for my birthday.
