Ribbon Girl Colour Challenge #19

Morning folks...woohoo it's a bonny sunny morning here in my neck of the woods...that's 2 days in a row the sun's decided to put his hat on...not counting my chickens just yet and it's early days to be looking out the summery duds but it felt so good sitting outside this morning having my first cuppa of the day... the sun on my face with only the birdies and The Furry Boy for company...roll on Summer and lots of days spent in the garden...
And talking of gardens...check out the gorgeous inspiration photo for the this month's colour challenge over at The Ribbon Girls ...you can almost smell those gorgeous roses and I have a sneaky feeling you're going to love the colours for this month's challenge...
as much as I did...aren't they yummy...anything vintage is right up my street and I had lots of fun decorating a ceramic tile with tissue paper decoupage...inking and stamping die cuts and oh boy don't you just love the gorgeous silky crush ribbon and lace...
and I couldn't resist using this sweet rose charm for the flower centre and of course...my must-have pearls...

as always there are 2 fabulous prizes which will go to ONE LUCKY WINNER
from our lovely chums at Lili Of The Valley...
to spend in their online store...with all their fabulous new releases you're going to be spoilt for choice...
and who wouldn't want to get their crafty mitts on this luscious bundle of Lavender goodies
 from The Ribbon Girl
the challenge will close at 9pm on Sunday 3rd June (UK time) so time to get your thinking caps on...why don't you pop on over to The Ribbon Girls and check out the gorgeous creations from my fabulous teamies and our fabulous Guest Designer for May...the mega talented Astrid Maclean from woohooo Scotland...wow...wow...wow....lots of gorgeous inspiration for you to feast your eyes on and the winners of the Pearls and Pins Give-Away  and the Special Pink and Girlie Prize have been announced...
I'll see you all tomorrow

  6. I love this tile! The text background just works so well and I like the idea of using the rose charm as the centre of the flower. We've also had 2 days of the sun straining to make an appearance - looks like Tuesday is going to be a really sunny day here.
