an entirely different look using another long forgotten crafty buy...a Bo Bunny Et Cetera Kit...it's amazing what you find when you have a good old rummage around in your crafty stash...
It's going to be a feet up...glued to the box for the Mens Final...strawberries...cream and Pimms kind of a day. I'm stuck between a rock and a bit of a hard place on this one...obviously I would be delighted for Andy Murray if he won and I realise I'm going to be the only Scot on the planet who isn't rooting for my fellow countryman but I'm standing by my man...setting patriotism aside and hooting and tooting for my Hero...cheering on the mighty Mr Federer to win his 7th Wimbledon title and regain the No 1 spot. So whatever you're doing...enjoy what's left of the weekend and I'll see you all tomorrow to share another of my "In Love" purchases.
Hugs Kath xxx
Edited to add: you only have until 8pm tonight to enter your name in the hat for my gorgeous LAVENDER RIBBON GIVE-AWAY
gorgeousness!!
ReplyDelete...well Kath I'm not surprised your a tad pleased with these beauties, the effect of the embossing powder gives those wings such a magical look, clever girl! beautiful cards loVe the blue/brown hues, tis a gorgeous stamp set too...Mel :)
ReplyDeleteOooo tis a tricky one today cos I just adore Federer and that BIG title would be a super achievement (at the tender age of 31) but Andy is a Brit, gosh talk about being torn...I'll be happy either way, roll on 2 o/clock...Mel :)
Fabulous. Would not have thiught those stamps would make such beautiful cards. As for that Bo Bunny paper it's one of my current fave pads. Enjoy the tennis.
ReplyDeleteStunning cards. I just love butterflies.

Two stunning cards Kath might have to add the Littke set to my wish list!
ReplyDeleteAnne
These are gorgeous cards Kath and love the pb stamps - think this might be on my wish list! Now I like Federar but I am most certainly rooting for Andy as he has been so close so many times. Either way my eyes will be covered a good lot of the match as I just can't bear to watch the crucial points.
ReplyDeleteWOW!!! Stunning cards, I love those butterflies so much - have just added them to my ever-growing wish list!!
ReplyDeleteHope you have a good Sunday
Sue
It's going to be a tough one today, I would be happy if either wins, I love Federer but....
ReplyDeleteWhen you showed these butterflies the other day I tracked them down and then hesitated, but seeing your stunning cards I may be having second thoughts - a girl can never have too many butterflies after all. Enjoy your strawberries and Pimms! Anne x
Gorgeous cards Kath. How do you fit in all this creativity and watching the tennis too. Have a good day. Enjoy your strawberries, cream and Pimms, and of course the tennis.
ReplyDeleteBoth of these are absolutely gorgeous hun, I especially like the one where the butterflies are embossed in white :) xxx
ReplyDeleteLovely butterflies. How did you get the blue on the left of the second one? I thought one part might have been a stamp - mark of a mug? The rest - watercolour?
ReplyDeleteAnd I'm getting ready with scones, strawberry jam and cream . . . and tennis final. I'm a Federer fan all the way! but if he doesn't win, I'll be so happy for Murray !
Stunning cards again Kath! I'm afraid it'll be Andy being supported in this house. Off out to lunch but hope to be back before the start.
ReplyDeletejust love these butterflies - love the embossing & colours!

ReplyDeleteMorning Kath,
ReplyDeleteBeautiful cards, those butterfly stamps are gorgeous and I just love the colour combo in the BoBunny papers. Great job as always.
May just be watching the tennis, but I'm afraid I'll be cheering Murray on. Have a great day - not too much Pimms though xxx
Love these butterfly cards, the colours are gorgeous xx
ReplyDeleteBeautiful cards, love that butterfly.
ReplyDeleteWow, really wonderful!!!
ReplyDeleteOMG Kath can't believe you won't be cheering on Murray - I will have to yell twice as hard at the tv now LOL!!!
ReplyDeleteI love those butterflies - I have a set here with my name on them but as a birthday present so have to wait till the end of August to get my little mitts on them - Mr P is such a meanie!!
Two beautiful cards xx
Well......who can resist butterflies? I must admit your first creation had me oooing & aaaaahing - the colours are just wonderful & I love the way you made the butterflies' bodies.
ReplyDeletePaula (PEP)
Fabby cards Kath. I can see why you're quietly pleased with them. I don't often like mine much but I suppose we're often too self-critical?
ReplyDeleteI'm not really a tennis fan, in fact I'm not keen on watching any sport! But I would like to see Andy win, especially because he's Scottish. I was joking this morning that I might phone my friend who lives in Dunblane to see if she answers the phone. I wouldn't be so cruel though!
Enjoy your afternoon.
Kat xx

Both cards are beautiful, Kath! I love both colour schemes.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely gorgeous! I would be SO happy if I made these beauties myself! You really showcased the butterflies so beautifully! And poor Andy, not winning the Wimbledon! RF always shows such grace and finesse as a tennis champion...we've all got to love a champ, right? HUGS!
ReplyDeleteHi Kath, both of the cards are gorgeous, love them both so wouln't like to choose one.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous, gorgeous cards. Love both of them. Hugs x ChrisB
ReplyDeleteOh, I'd be pleased with these, too! Lovely! Glad that you're, undoubtedly, happy with the outcome today. Good match all around. Amazed that either one could play, since you could have cut the tension with a knife!
