and INSPIRED you certainly will be if you pop over and visit her blog. Jill is one of the Design Team over at Penny Black and I love the technique videos she does so when I watched the video on how Jill made this beautiful card using Distress Markers...
I had to have a go...I didn't get the same soft watercolour look because I was just too darned impatient when I couldn't find "the filed away in some obscure place" watercolour paper so the ink didn't wick so much when I spritzed it with water...
It looks like we are in for another frantic week of crafty stuff but before we knuckle down it's time for our "blow away the cobwebs" de-stress morning stroll...my furry side-kick will be happy as larry chasing rabbits and I'll be praying for loads of divine inspiration and some extra hours in the day. And the other half of this crafting duo will be joining you tomorrow for another of his "declutter the cubbyhole" give-aways.
Have fun and happy crafting...
Hugs Kath xxx

ReplyDeleteHi Kath, I went over and watched the video and the techniques she uses are great but I prefer the spritz and flick look of your piece (maybe because I love that technique) and I do prefer your softer colours. That is a great site though for future reference, thanks for the info and I just love that stamp set you have both used.........hope your day turns out better than you expect. Crafty hugs, Anne x

ReplyDeleteOh I am SO glad I'm not the only one who does that. I was hunting this morning for the battery charger which I KNEW I'd put somewhere when husband remarked that it had taken up residence in the kitchen & how long was it going to stay there? He had his tidying up hat on again.
ReplyDeleteAs for your card - I reckon it worked pretty well anyhow & I love your words with the sentiment.
