Sending Double The Sunshine...

Hi crafty friends, I'm sharing two more cards made with the Four Seasons Sayings stamp set from Simon Says Stamp latest collection...Sending Sunshine.
You can check out all the fabulous products from the collection HERE.

I'm continuing with yesterday's stencil theme and sending double the sunshine your way.
I used Simon Says Stamp Line Dance Stencil with Cracked Pistachio, Fossilized Amber and Salty Ocean Distress Oxide inks to create a background on a 5" square of Distress Watercolor card.
I removed the stencil and created water splatters using the Distress Sprayer. I stamped one of the images from Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Flower Garden and the sentiments from Four Seasons Sayings with Simon Says Stamp Intense Black. I stamped the small sun from the same set with Fossilized Amber Distress Oxide ink.
I used the Distress Detailer Water Brush to remove colour from the petals, stem and leaves of the flower, wiping the colour off the brush frequently on to kitchen roll.
and added Pretty Pink Posh Share Kindness sequins.

I used the Simon Says Stamp Square Dance stencil and Fossilized Amber Distress Oxide ink for the background on the second card, again using a 5" square of Distress Watercolor card.
I masked off the word "day" on the sentiment stamp from Simon Says Stamp Beautiful Day
and stamped with Simon Says Stamp Intense Black ink
I stamped the leaf image from the Beautiful Day stamp set with Intense Black and coloured with Fossilized Amber using the Detailer Water Brush
I stamped the butterflies from Beautiful Day and the sentiment from Four Seasons Sayings with Fossilized Amber Distress Oxide ink, added Black Soot Distress Paint splatters to the background using the Distress Splatter Brush, added dots on the body and antennae of the butterflies using a Sharpie Fine Black Pen and fixed Pretty Pink Posh Clear Droplets and Sparkling Clear Sequins using Ranger Multi Matte Medium.
I'll be back tomorrow with another Sending Sunshine card, in the meantime, I hope the sun is shining where you are.
Hugs Kath xxx
