Sending Sunshine...

Hi folks...Simon Says Stamp latest release "Sending Sunshine" is full of gorgeous stamps, dies and stencils and all the products are available to buy HERE.

Simon very kindly sent me the Four Seasons Sayings stamp set to play with
and with the glorious Summer weather we've had recently I was inspired to make a super easy quick and simple card...
a chance to try out the fabulous Distress Blending Brushes from Tim Holtz with Altenew's Classy Stripes Stencil to create a summery background on a panel of Distress Watercolor card with a quick spritz of water from the Distress Sprayer to fade the stripes out even more.
I stamped the butterflies and trails from Simon Says Stamp Beautiful Day stamp set on to the background using SSS Intense Black ink and then stamped the butterflies again on to Distress Watercolor card using Versamark ink and heat embossed with Ranger Superfine White Embossing Powder. I coloured the butterflies with the same Distress Oxide colours using the Distress Detailer Water Brush, fussy cut, fixed over the original stamping

and added shimmer with the Tonic Aqua Shimmer Pen.
I stamped the sentiment from Four Seasons Sayings with SSS Intense Black, matted the panel on to a SSS Green Apple card blank and added Pretty Pink Posh 3mm clear sequins.

I'll be back tomorrow to share another "Sending Sunshine" card but in the meantime, have you seen the Simon Says Stamp June Card Kit "Fly Me Away"...another amazing kit jammed packed with fabulous crafty goodies and I can't wait for mine to arrive.

The kit includes the gorgeous Beautiful Flowers stamp set, Modascrap Fly and Scrap papers, Tim Holtz Distress Resist Spray, the brand new Tim Holtz/Sizzix Botanical 3D Texture Fades Embossing Folder and much more. You can watch a walk through the kit video with Shari Carroll HERE and my advice would be, if you want this kit, DO NOT delay, because forgive the pun, this one is going to FLY AWAY. If the kit has already sold out, you can purchase individual items HERE
Toodle-oo for now
