The Pink Elephant Challenge # 6

Morning Folks and I'm back with a challenge card which was just my cup of tea....absolutely no thinking required for this one.
The challenge this week on "The Pink Elephant" is to use buttons....yippeee....I am a real button hoarder and could probably open up a button shop.....and just had to use one of my favourite House Mouse images...kindly sent to me by my lovely teamie Carol....who just happens to be on "The Pink Elephant" Design Team......not often it all comes together so easily.

Papers: Daisy Bucket "Wondrous World"
Image: House Mouse .."Mouse Bounce"
Buttons and Charms from my stash
Ribbon: American Crafts
Sentiment: Papermania Alphabet Stickers
Well another busy day at the office.....as they say......crafty fingers are red hot at the moment....and in more ways than one.....been working with Adirondack Cranberry Ink.....my goodness... my hands look as though I have just committed mass murder.......after lots of scrubbing and washing....it's still there....any tips apart from cutting my fingers off.....weather is glorious again this morning after a day of rain yesterday..so off to walk "The Budster" and after a bite of breakfast.....back to the cubbyhole......catch up with you all later.......Hugs Kath xxxxxxx

  5. Oh what a stunning card, love the buttons and thimbles, brilliant.
Someone once told me to try washing you hands in shampoo but this could be about alcohol inks.

  6. Simply adore your card. "Sew much to look at"!!!

Try a pumice stone and washing up liquid on your fingers - hope it works. (I would love to think I have helped you for a change).

    Good luck

  12. Wow Cath, that card is simply stunning, I love the House Mouse stamps and all those charms and bits are so lovely. Well done. (And tips for the ink removal, after an accident with my printer at the weekend, my hands looked awful and my last resort was to bleach them, I know it sounds harsh, but did remove the main of it.)
    Good luck

  17. This is a fabulous card Kath!! I really love everything about it....image, buttons, everything! As for the ink, wash your hair. Shampoo does work great, but something about actually using your hands to massage the shampoo through your hair will make them stain free. Even works with alcohol inks for me. I get ink embedded under my nails and the only thing that works is washing my hair! lol
Thanks for joining us at TPE this week!

Good Luck on the ink...I normally just let it wear off!!

Can just imagine your hands after your run in with the inks :D I always have trouble getting it off my hands too... not very good if you have to hold out your hand for change in a shop... gets you some right funny looks so I will watch with interest everyones ideas for removing it :D
