The challenge this week is a fabby sketch from Dawny P and there is a little twist...."Think Pink".
And as October is Breast Cancer Awareness month and this is a cause very dear to my heart having lost two very dear friends to breast cancer...I dedicate this card to all those who are battling this terrible disease....

Well that's it for today folks....am now beavering away with the rest of the DT stuff for this week......maybe I shouldn't have had those two fun days playing over the weekend and the weather.....well let's just say it's sunny and bright not the most perfect day for being marooned in the cubbyhole......catch up with you all later.
Hugs Kath xxxxxx
Oops....oops....I think there may have been some crossed wires this week...either that or one of the two dopey old mares (mentioning no names....you know who you are) have finally gone doolally....apparently there is no Think Pink theme to this week's challenge...thanks Donna for putting me wise.....so forget you read that bit....while I go and lie down in a darkened room.
Oh how cute is that flamingo? Fabulous card and very touching too.

Kath, I completely LOVE this card. That flamingo is over the top cute and I love what you did with her, and the meaning behind it as well. I'm so sorry for the loss of your friends. I know far too many women who have been challenged by it, but fortunately have beaten it and are survivors. Thanks so much for playing with us at PTW this month! Big hugs!
ReplyDeleteFabulous Card Kath, those BG papers were just made for that image.
ReplyDeleteGlad the weather was good today. It has been raining here all day just perfect for crafting.
Glad I did my walk yesterday.
