Happy New Year

Happy New Year Everyone

it's time to look back over the old year filled with special memories...
lots of laughter and fun and be thankful for friends old and new...
some sad times too
remembering the folks who are no longer in my life
time to say goodbye to 2010 and welcome in a new year..
who knows what lies ahead but that's why life is never boring and
with the continued love and support of the ones I love
I look forward to the journey...whether the road be smooth or a tad bumpy...
here's to love and special friendships...
good health..happiness and peace and
always remembering I have lots to be thankful for...

I raise my glass in a wee toast to you all....
imagine the piper playing in the background
a roaring log fire and me snuggled up with a dram in my hand...
The Budster fast asleep and snoring....
and a chilly wind blowing outside
......cue music

A guid new year to ane an' a'
An' mony may ye see
An' during a' the years to come
O happy may ye be
An'may ye ne'er hae cause to mourn
To sigh or shed a tear
To ane and' a' baith great an' sma'
A hearty Guid New Year
This is the traditional Scottish song sung to welcome in the New Year traditionally after the bells......"Auld Lang Syne" is the one sung before the stroke of midnight....don't let anyone tell you this blog isn't educational.
A big thank you to all my lovely bloggy buddies and teamies past and present for your love and friendship throughout the year...to Sue and Julie at Craftwork Cards...Andrea and Mary at The Ribbon Girl  ..Fiskars and Jacqui at Simply Create for giving me the opportunity to work with your fabulous products and a special thank you to all those who have visited my blog in 2010....I love reading all your comments and look forward to having your company in 2011.
And a great way to kick off the new year...my lovely buddy Carol e-mailed to say that our tickets for our play date with Lord Tim of All Things Holtziness have arrived.....yahoo only 54 more sleeps.....

It's way past my usual bedtime so time to climb the wooden hill and snuggle down....tomorrow is another day of feasting...New Year's Dinner is yet another traditional custom in Scotland...Christmas Day Take 2...thank goodness it isn't followed by another Boxing Day...oh my lord am I sick fed up of rich food....how I long for normal rations....a bowl of soup followed by crackers and cheese and why am I talking about food when I am ready for bed.
Pop back later when the Furry Boy will be making his first appearance of 2011 with his bumper bumper "Buddy Give-Away Box".
Lots of Love from Kath & Buddy
